California Woman Shot While Sitting in Parked Car in 2016 Hopes for Justice

It was a Christmas that Cassey Verrette says she will never forget. In 2016, she was dropping off a friend in Riverside, California, when she says three men opened fire on her car. When she realized the men were approaching her, she says she tried to pull away, but they started shooting, hitting her car 16 times. Surveillance footage from that night was recently released by Riverside Police. Cassey says she was shot three times. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
