16-Year-Old Snowboarder Falls 30 Feet Off Ski Lift

Heart-stopping video captures the moment as a 16-year-old snowboarder dangled from a ski lift. The teen was 30-feet above the ground when she plummeted to the ground. In a statement, the resort says, "The guest, who for unknown reasons was not completely seated, began sliding off the chair. When the guest slipped from the grasp of her chairmates, the net decelerated her fall, but did not stop it."
