Kai Lawrence's 2013 interview brought him overnight fame as a hero for coming to the aid of a woman being assaulted. Three months after that appearance, Lawrence hitchhiked across the country to New York City where he met 73-year-old lawyer Joseph Galfy. He later murdered the lawyer inside his New Jersey home.
