A police officer runs through an apartment complex to help a family after their apartment set fire. Bodycam video from the Brea Police Department shows the scene play out in real time. In response to the video, the department said, “While it was brave and heroic for our officers to run through smoke and into a burning apartment building - and I don't want to take anything away from what they did - the family (husband, wife, two small kids) were already awake and in the process of self-evacuating.” Inside Edition Digital has more.
