French Fries Shut Down a California Freeway

French fries shut down a California freeway. All of the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 were closed for about six hours after a semi-truck crashed. The impact of that accident detached the trailer from the truck and sent its contents all over the asphalt. Clean-up crews spent the early hours of the morning scooping up potatoes that had been cut and processed into French fries. Restaurants may be missing their French fries, but more importantly, authorities say this crash caused no injuries.
