Vigil Held for Tennessee Teen Channing Smith Who Died After Being Outed

An emotional vigil was held for a teen in Tennessee who took his own life. Sixteen-year-old Channing Smith killed himself, his family says, after being outed as bisexual on social media. Channing had texted with a friend about his sexuality. Screenshots of that exchange were shared widely. Channing's brother Josh Smith said, "He was so humiliated by what they had done that he killed himself." In the sorrowful aftermath, friends and mourners turned out to show their love.
