Haiti is in a state of turmoil, as one tragedy after another strikes the island nation. About 1300 people are feared dead and nearly 6,000 injured after a magnitude 7.2 earthquake shook the country over the weekend. The natural disaster occurred barely a month after Haitian President Jovenel Moise was assassinated in his home, further stoking the country’s political unrest. All of this as a tropical depression is expected to bring heavy rain to the country, further complicating an already difficult situation. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains.
